Attorney Seaver Took Over Every Step; He Made It Smooth And Painless
“My children are the most important thing in my life. And I was scared that DCF and the police could come in the middle of the night and just rip my children out of the home, put them in foster homes, and maybe not even together. I had all sorts of nightmare scenarios going through my mind, and I just wanted to get rid of them out of my life, I was intimidated, I was scared, I wasn’t familiar with my rights surrounding that process. Others just weren’t really strong in the information they provided on their own websites as far as their approach to DCF law and to defending their clients.
Attorney Seaver seemed to be the strongest advocate. He seemed very passionate about his work. He offered a lot of information on his website that wasn’t available on other lawyer’s websites and his reviews were impeccable. Attorney Seaver dedicates his practice to DCF law and he doesn’t have any other areas of law that he’s practicing. He solely focuses on DCF law. Whereas other lawyers, they split their practice between different areas of law. And I wanted someone very focused on the DCF laws so that they could best protect my family.
DCF foster care would be a nightmare for my kids because it would likely separate them from each other. One is significantly disabled with communication and developmental deficits that would really be highly impacted by that, especially separation from her siblings and different individuals that she’s not familiar with as foster parents. So the whole thing would be a real nightmare for all of us.
When DCF came to interview the family, Attorney Seaver and his staff were present. When my children were interviewed separately from the parents, my children had representation and people in the room with them taking notes from Attorney Seaver’s staff. Attorney Seaver was present with us the full time that we were interviewed and guided us through the whole process, what we needed to have ready. And then any questions that DCF had that were overreaching, Attorney Seaver put a dead halt to them. And it was really very painless and smooth moving through the process of the investigation.
So Attorney Seaver had a very specific plan that was broken down and easily understandable. He took over every step of the process. He handled everything. Other attorneys didn’t have that same detail orientated approach or very easily broken down language that really involve their clients and understanding the process that they were going through and how they were being defended. he just did everything according to that very simply broken down process that he outlined and really took care of everything from start to finish.
Attorney Seaver is a very strong advocate, but in the same sense, he’s also a professional at all times in explaining the process. He did make it clear that DCF has a job to do, and they’re going to do it. And that he has a job to do as an advocate. And he was going to advocate and both were going to do their jobs in a very professional and respectful manner. So at all times, although he was a very strong advocate, he also maintained professionalism throughout as did DCF. And I believe his involvement kept DCF professional. Like I said, it was a very painless process and it was very quick, and DCF just closed the case and moved on.
If someone came to me and said that they were contacted by DCF, the first thing I would say is don’t return the phone call. Hopefully they didn’t pick up the call. Hopefully it was a voicemail. And then the second step I would say is for them to call Attorney Seaver because there is no better advocate available. He’s worth every penny that he charges. And he really only charges a flat rate, which is great because no matter how involved your case gets, when you hire him from the start, you have him at that flat rate. And he does the job, no matter how involved it gets.
Because he takes over every aspect and all communication, and he’s a buffer between you and your family and DCF, you’re able to breathe easy and go about your regular life without having to sit and stress over their involvement or what they’re doing because Attorney Seaver is dealing with that the whole time.
