the reason why I’ve learned the hard way that they keep claiming that they’ll close the case and then they stay involved for as long as a year or more in my case two years is because it’s a waiting game where they know if they stay involved they can just wait for anything to happen and because you have a prior DCF record it’s an easy pull of those kids it’s truly sick .a sick nightmare of mind games. 8 years later and they won’t go away and yet they claim that I myself am of no concern so if I got custody of my kids back over 2 years ago why are they still involved??

Dcf got involved because we were homeless. They never took our child, they said they are just here to help us and once we find a place to live, they will close the case. Once we found a place to live they said my wife has cognitive disabilities and because of that they are keeping the case open. Please help. How do we get them out of our lives?

In April of 2006 I was divorced. An abusive relationship not just towards me but our children. Somehow he seemed to provoke, turn the tables and manipulate the court in his defense. He was real good and still today. I’m still hurt because it left a DCF record. Lies. I actually collected all the documents and gave them back to DCF and said you must have the wrong person. I would love to learn more. Clearing my name is my name of this nonsense that someone else created.
