The police asked the person to get out the car and determined this person had been smoking and was impaired. This case went all the way up to the highest court in Massachusetts. The SJC the Supreme Judicial Court. It was determined that you indeed can be impaired driving under the influence of marijuana.
So, what’s the impact of this case on all of us, very important just envision and imagine in your own eyes that if this individual had children in the car when he was pulled over. The next thing that he would have known is that he would get a (knock) from DCF. DCF would be knocking on his door taking his children away from him and placing them into foster care, that’s the last thing you want to happen.
So, what’s the moral of today’s story. Obviously, you don’t drink and drive and do drugs while you are driving. But NEVER EVER have your children in the car when you have been drinking or if you have done any type of drugs, regardless or not if alcohol is legal, or if marijuana is legal.
